This is the free ebook novella only accessible via sign-up to the newsletter. This novella serves as the prequel to the Ultimate Jester series, covering the tragic events leading up to the main story:
During his very first shift into wolf form, a young werewolf and his brother are captured by werewolf hunters. Assigned the number 1753, he is auctioned off.
Thrown into a fighting ring, he quickly learns that the only way to survive is to kill his opponents, other captured werewolves. Utterly disgusted by the act, he frees them from the torment the only way he can, directly defying his captor's orders while still fighting for his own life.
At the same time, his family searches for him and his brother, crossing boundaries between witchcraft and werewolves that could cost them their lives in an attempt to find them. They are willing to sacrifice everything just to see them again.
Howls of Defiance

Forced to kill or be killed in a werewolf fighting ring, 1753 searches for a way out. After escaping, he stumbles upon a wizard's compound and is quickly subdued. Knowing that witches and wizards are mortal enemies of werewolves, 1753 expects death.
Instead, he is introduced to the werewolf pack hiding within. Not one to take his newfound freedom and safety for granted, 1753 refuses to settle until he finds a way to free the other werewolves trapped in the fighting ring, starting with his brother.
The Werewolf Wizard

Kidnapped, Josh quickly learns he must keep his head down to survive his captor's hostile demeanor toward him. Despite the harsh treatment, Josh befriends another werewolf his age and becomes protective of him for reasons only known to the two of them.
Looking for answers of who was behind the kidnapping and why, Josh does his best to keep himself alive until he is able to find a way back home.
The Jester Alpha

Knowing that both are planning to retaliate against him as a consequence of his actions, Josh has to make a decision whether to face the forces from the ring or the grand alpha. Aware that every move he makes could be his last, he challenges one threat head-on while chipping away at the other.
Josh and Danny learn the true impact of their actions during their time in the fighting ring. As more and more werewolves come forward in search of guidance, Josh takes on the role of the alpha.
